Every year summer rolls around and brings in a new season.  I always like to make a change when the weather changes, nothing big, but something that brightens up my home.

Nothing says summer to me like orange, white, and blue.  You can’t get away with it all year long (unless you live in a warmer climate or on a beach).  Blue and white is such a classic color combination that never seems to go out of style.  You can easily have an entire room or even home devoted to it.  I have a guest bedroom with all blue and white.  So when the weather warms up and the sun becomes a little bit more permanent in the summer days I bring out my orange accents.

True Orange is a strong color.  It has personality, kick and vibrancy.  Make sure when using it you have pops here and there.  A whole room of a strong orange can be overwhelming for the senses.  I’ve made a treasury of some great orange and blue accent ideas to inspire your summer decorating projects!
